Impact Platform OnDemand Course Emails

You can refer to the following guide to see the different types of OnDemand Course emails and the template names for download. Screenshots accompany each email type directly below the description, or you may download a copy of the screenshot of each type at the end of the article.

OnDemand Course Welcome Email: Learners receive a different version of this email depending on if they are enrolled in an OnDemand Course by their client admin or if they self-enroll. The email dynamically contains the first week of resources, depending on what is in the course's syllabus.

Custom OnDemand Course Welcome Email: If a client admin assigns a Custom OnDemand Course, then the email will reference the custom course name and length. The email dynamically contains the first week of resources, depending on what is in the course's syllabus.

Newsletter Confirmation Email: Learners receive an email confirming that they are subscribed to the weekly newsletter.

Emails Throughout the Course: Learners receive emails with that week's lineup of learning activities to complete. The email dynamically contains the set of resources that are in the course's syllabus.

• If the client admin assigns an OnDemand Course, the admin can select what day of the week they want learners to receive the reminder emails and whether they'd like them to send once a week or once every two weeks. 
  • If the client admin chooses 'once every two weeks', then the first reminder email will send during the second week after the course's start date on the day of the week they selected.
• If the learner subscribes to an OnDemand Course, the reminder emails go out on the same day of the week that they subscribed to the Course.

Journey Email

Post-Course Reinforcement Emails: After learners have completed all their learning activities, they receive emails containing additional learning activities and resources to reinforce what was taught during the Course.
