How to Assign Content
Admins can watch the video tutorial below to see how to assign content from the Admin Platform to an individual learner(s) on the learner-facing Impact Platform.

- Navigate to the Library tab in the Admin Platform and then click the Assign button to assign* OnDemand Courses, Microcourses, and Learning Activities to passes and teams.
- Choose the desired pass, team, and/or individual(s) to assign content in the Assignee drop-down menu.
- Note: Selecting a pass automatically includes all teams under that pass in the assignment.
- Selecting a start date will automatically populate due dates across all weeks of the Course – but you can edit these dates if needed.
- Note: Changing the dates of individual items may change the order in which they are sent.
- Learner(s) who are added to Teams/Passes after an assignment has been created will be included in the assignment, even if they missed some of the initial due dates. They will receive the course welcome email on the date that they are added, but they would not receive all of the reminder emails they missed.
- The assigned tasks will appear in the learners My Tasks homepage one week before the due date.
*Please note that while the Impact Platform is fully mobile friendly for learners (more info here), content must be assigned from a laptop or desktop computer.
Email Notifications to Learners:
- Learners will receive a Welcome to the Course email on the date you select for the "Set Start Date".
- When assigning content, you can decide if you want to send email reminders to your learners and what days of the week you would like learners to receive reminder emails.
- Note: We recommend sending email reminders to your learners to encourage engagement. However, you can decide not to send email reminders.
