Searching and Finding Content

Impact Platform Learners can follow this guide to quickly find relevant OnDemand courses, Microcourses, and microlearning articles.

Below, you can explore three ways to find content on the Impact Platform:

1. Utilize the Impact Platform Search Bar
2. Explore Recommended Content on the Homepage
3. Browse Content on the Explore Page

1. Utilize the Impact Platform Search Bar

The search bar is easy to find – it's located in the upper right-hand corner of every page of the Impact Platform. You can type in a keyword, and relevant FranklinCovey content will populate as you type.

Tip: Press the Show More Button

Press "Show More" to continue browsing content.

Tip: Expand Search to Full Page

Press the return/enter key on your keyboard or click the magnifying glass to expand to a full results page. Then:

1. Use the filters at the top to locate content based on content type.
2. Click the "More Filters" button to search for content related to specific skills.

Question: Is the search feature available in all languages?

The Impact Platform search feature is available in English, Spanish (Latin America), and German but FranklinCovey will roll it out to additional languages soon. Searching in languages other than English, Spanish (Latin America), and German does not yield results. Therefore, the Search feature is only visible if your language is set to one of the three languages. To access the search feature, you can set your language to English by following these steps.

Question: Why do I see duplicate results when I search?

Some learning activities yield duplicate search results due to a more considerable database structure complication--but we are working on resolving the issue!

 

2. Explore Recommended Content on the Homepage

The Impact Platform homepage thoughtfully highlights relevant and trending topics from our microlearning catalog and newsletter. You can easily find articles, Microcourses, and OnDemand Courses from your homepage.

How is the recommended content curated?

• Weekly Tips: These are microlearning articles that correlate/update with the Weekly Newsletter. These are updated weekly to align with the Weekly Tips newsletter. 

• Recommended Micocourses: These are popular, particularly helpful, or new Microcourses. They are chosen by FranklinCovey's Content Team and are updated a couple of times per quarter.

• Recommended Courses: These are popular, particularly helpful, or new Courses. They are chosen by FranklinCovey's Content Team and are updated a couple of times per quarter.

 

3. Browse Content on the Explore Page

The Impact Platform Explore page includes all OnDemand learning content and courses. You may browse the content by scrolling through the OnDemand Courses at the top:

Or by sifting through Skills and exploring Microcourses:

If you find an OnDemand Course or Microcourse that you'd like to enroll in, click the blue "Subscribe" button in the upper right hand corner of the page.
