Facilitators can follow the recommended steps below to certify in FranklinCovey content.

Recommended Steps to Certify in FranklinCovey Content

1. Login: Log into your All Access Pass portal account

2. Decide: Choose the Solution you want to deliver/facilitate

3. Access Facilitator Page: Click on the Facilitating tab to access everything you'll need to deliver in person or live online.

4. Agree: Electronically agree to the Facilitator License Agreements (required the first time you access each new content)

5. Download Materials: Download the facilitator and participant materials

6. Watch: Watch the certification videos twice

a. First, as a participant to experience the course as a learner (follow along with the participant guide)

b. Second, watch the videos again, follow with the facilitator guide and program PowerPoint at hand, and take notes.

Videos often include:

a. Introductory video (typically 30-60 minutes)

b. Program videos—these feature a FranklinCovey master facilitator delivering to a live group.

c. Certification videos—short videos (5-10 minutes) at the end of each major section, during which the facilitator provides insights and best practices for delivering the previous section.

7. Practice Individually: Practice facilitating the course with the facilitator guide and PowerPoint on your own, and refer back to the videos as necessary.

a. While you practice on your own, we recommend:

• • • Testing your equipment
    • Testing your sound
    • Confirming your timing matches the guide

b. You may also want to "enhance" your facilitator guide as you practice by:

• • • Generating relevant work examples that will apply to your learners.
    • Completing all the participant guide exercises yourself.
    • Jotting down contingency plans to help you in a time crunch (e.g., on p. X, if time is short, have participants complete Application Exercise questions #1 and #3.

8. Practice with a Small Group: Do a practice teach for 2-3 colleagues or friends to practice the material

9. Consultation: Optional– hire a FranklinCovey consultant to deliver the first session. You can choose to observe, co-teach, get coached, or some variation of the three.

10. Request Certificate: After you complete the certification steps, please notify your FranklinCovey implementation specialist or client partner, who will send you a certificate of completion if you'd like.
