When you come into a Zendesk office, you are going to need an employee badge to enter the buildings, elevators, stairwells and work suites. Are you new to Zendesk and don't have a badge yet? Requesting a new employee badge
If you will be frequently visiting Zendesk Sao Paulo, Zendesk Mexico City, or Zendesk Paris, then you are entering a WeWork space and will need to be issued a WeWork membership and keycard, not Zendesk ID. Please submit a ticket to hr@acme.com to request a membership. Once that process is complete you will pick up your keycard from the WeWork front desk.
Badges for Zendesk offices (not within WeWorks) have the holder’s photo and full name. To request a new Zendesk ID badge, please send your photo to hr@acme.com at least 2-3 days before your visit to the office (one week in advance for Montreal). If your photo meets the requirements, the Workplace team will let you know where to pick it up on your first in-office day. There is a chance the photograph could be rejected, in which case we may ask you to try again.
Here are the steps you will need to take to have the perfect photo:
- Passport-style photo in color (do not send a black-and-white photo).
- Use a well-lit indoor area against a solid white or light-colored wall.
- The photo should be in landscape orientation, not portrait.
- Make sure the image is high quality.
- Yes, you're allowed to smile! :)

Requesting a replacement employee badge
If you misplaced/lost your badge or keycard, please send a ticket to hr@acme.com as soon as possible. Replacement WeWork keycards require Workplace Experience approval, so we will inform the WeWork staff to issue you a new one to replace the one you lost. If you lost a Zendesk ID badge, WE will deactivate your lost badge, print a new one and let you know when you can pick it up.
Visiting other offices
Traveling to a Zendesk office within a WeWork (i.e. Sao Paulo, Mexico City, or Paris) for a short period of time? Please identify a Zendesk employee from that office who can host you and pre-register you as a visitor in the WeWork app. If that person has questions about the WeWork app, please have them to go to the WeWork front desk in-office.
Are you traveling to another Zendesk office, not in a WeWork space? Let the Workplace Experience team know by submitting a ticket to hr@acme.com before your trip so we can arrange for your existing ID badge to work in the location you are planning to visit OR WE can create and have your new ID badge ready for you upon your arrival!
